I just heard from a friend that there is a store specializing in hockey equipment at the Shanghai Tech Museum (Kejiguan). I think the mall is called called AP Plaza or something. It's probably mostly roller hockey stuff, but mostly probably fine for the Shanghai league.

If anyone is in the area, might as well check it out and report back about equipment range, pricing, etc.
